Spark has a pre-launch token rewards program based on the usage of its lending platform. Users of the platform will receive an airdrop of SPK tokens, depending on how much and how long they have used the platform during the pre-launch token reward period. These rewards are only for users on Ethereum Mainnet. There are two phases to the Spark pre-launch token rewards: Phase 1 and Phase 2.Phase 1 of pre-launch token rewards was active from August 20 2023 and lasted for nine months, ending on May 20 2024. 60m SPK tokens were allocated in this period.Phase 2 of pre-launch token rewards began at the completion of the first phase on May 20 2024, and lasts until the issuance of the SPK token. 6.66m SPK tokens per month will be allocated during this second phase, calculated on a per-block basis according to the formula below.The SPK rewards formula, designed to counter cheating, is as follows:

The Support Facilitators can activate a new SPK token pre-launch token reward airdrop program to capture other growth opportunities.The program can last until the moment SPK launches, or a shorter duration, which must be declared by the Support Facilitators. When activated by the Support Facilitators, the exact details of the special pre-launch token reward airdrop program must be specified in .The SPK tokens for the future Spark Airdrop are allocated between all borrowers based on a formula announced by the Support Facilitators and specified in the above cited document. The rate of SPK tokens being earned is 3.33 million SPK per month, distributed on a per block basis proportional to the formula specified in the above cited document.
